Public Engagement

Chacewater Parish Council has published a new Public Engagement Statement, which explains how the Council engages with residents, community organisations, and other stakeholders within its statutory decision-making framework.

The Council has adopted a clear set of policies and supporting documents to guide public participation in a fair, transparent, and consistent way. These set out the recognised routes through which individuals can engage with the Council’s work, and how advisory participation is managed where it is invited.

An overview of how the Council operates, how decisions are made, and how the public can engage is available on the Governance and Participation page, which also links to key documents, including:

  • the Public Participation Policy;
  • the Working Party Participation Code; and
  • the Expression of Interest process for participatory roles.
