Chacewater Parish Council routinely sets up committees or working parties to focus on specific areas of its work. Membership of committees and working parties can change at any time, but are reviewed and set each year at the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council in May.

Committees

Committees are made up of a group of councillors who are given clear delegated responsibilities by the Council and can meet regularly to discuss and agree on issues such as staffing, finance, or local services. Committees may also have sub-committees for more detailed work that report back to the main committee. They must follow the same rules as full Council meetings.

Working Parties

Working Parties are usually set up to look into specific tasks or projects and can include both councillors and members of the public. They do not have delegated powers and cannot make decisions themselves. Instead, they provide advice or recommendations for the Council or a delegated committee to consider.

Digital Services and Branding Working Party
