Chacewater Parish Council plays an active role in shaping the future of the Parish. We review and comment on all local planning applications and help ensure that new development supports our community, protects the environment, and fits with the Parish’s character. While Cornwall Council makes the final decisions, our input helps make sure local views are heard.

The Chacewater Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) sets out the community’s vision for the parish and provides planning policies that guide sustainable growth and protect what makes Chacewater Parish special. Residents and applicants are encouraged to engage in the planning process and may speak during Public Question Time at the start of Parish Council meetings.

Chacewater Parish Council also delivers its own development projects, such as improving community facilities and enhancing public spaces. These projects are shaped by local input, supported by volunteers, and funded through grants and partnerships to create lasting benefits for everyone in the Parish.
